CinemaO is a new hybrid space in Milan, reimagining what cinemas can be. A home and a community dedicated to moving image research, production and film‑tech innovation. A stage to debate, showcase, and test new ideas.
Our mission is to expand the possibilities and reach of creative and entrepreneurial practices within cinema and the wider moving image industry.

Just launched: Open Call for Emerging Film Curators
A program built together by emerging curators who wish to foster new discussions through moving image-based works.
What we offer
A dedicated screening venue, financial support for screening rights, a workshop on audience design and distribution strategies, daytime access to CinemaO’s workspace for three months, and an international support network that includes members of the Foundation’s community with decades of experience across audiovisual fields.
The deadline for submitting proposals is April 10, 2026.
