The Future of IP in the Age of Machines

We are currently in the research phase for a white paper produced in collaboration with Tower Peak Partners, examining the impact of emerging technologies on the IP value chain. Taking an investor's perspective, the research looks at the ongoing radical transformation of the IP value chain and the limitations of current licensing frameworks. The paper features a collection of industry voices on the frontline of technology, production, and law, covering key debates such as the attribution of machine-generated IP, emerging industry standards, new tech-driven opportunities for cross-format IP development, and the convergence of authorship and inventorship paradigms.

The paper will be presented during the Cannes Film Festival 2026, followed by a panel discussion.

Mapping the FilmTech Ecosystem

We are building the most extensive and detailed database of innovators, founders, researchers, and investors spearheading the invention and development of technological products and solutions for the audiovisual industry. The database has a strong European focus and covers every stage of the value chain, from generating ideas to delivering audiovisual content to individual users. By doing so, it will increase transparency in the ecosystem and facilitate the flow of talent and capital.
